Herndon Park is a city owned sports field complex located in Mobile, Alabama. Espalier worked with the City of Mobile to prepare a bidding package consisting of drawings and specification for the design build construction of three new synthetic multi-use fields. The new fields are striped with multiple sports including football, soccer and mini soccer, and lacrosse. The project also included new bleacher pads, sidewalks, drinking fountain, and bollards. Espalier was responsible for assembling the design team and performed all bidding drawings and bid/specification manual with collaboration from our sports field consultant on the field specifications. Espalier was also responsible for construction observation to ensure compliance with the specifications
and bidding documents. This included regular site visits, site meetings with the contractor, shop drawing review, pay application review, close out procedure and standard practices of the City of Mobile.
